On a sunny morning, Doctor Zhou Jie (acted by Yuan Chengjie) was informed of suspicious death of his patient. But there was nothing abnormal in the autopsy result. With doubts and misgivings, Zhou Jie began to investigate all by himself, in order to give the patient’s family an explanation. With the investigation going deeper, Zhou Jie found that this hospital was not as simple as what it appeared to be: his colleagues, whom he contacted with during the investigation, were killed inexplicably in quick succession; even his girlfriend Chen Shanshan (acted by Tan Zhuo) was also threatened with death. At the same time, an eccentric dark figure often appeared in his sight and a mysterious metal stuff became the only clue. What is exactly in it? Why did the patient die inexplicably? What skeletons in the closet are hidden in this seemingly good hospital? Driven to the last ditch, can Zhou Jie and his girlfriend escape from death?
